Prince Zarkon - The Ultimate Man
Zarkon is apparently a man out of time, sent back by an inhuman intelligence to stop the destruction of the world in this time. He has gathered a team of experts to assist his efforts to thwart super crime in our time. Winner of a Nobel Prize, once ruler of a small mid-European nation, Zarkon is tireless in his pursuit of justice and defence of the innocent. He and his team operate out of a city block sized headquarters, diguised as a simple block of brownstones in Knickerbocker City. While his team are expert fighters and adventurers, Zarkon exceeds them all in his skills, mental prowess and scientific knowledge.

Aloysius Murphy "Scorchy" Muldoon
A once champion bantamweight boxer, Scorchy's nickname stems from his fast fists fairly "scorching" the air as he swung them. A hot tempered red-head, Scorchy once let his temper best him and killed his opponent in the ring that day. Seeking refuge in the bottle, he was rescued and redeemed by Zarkon, who found him at his lowest point. Scorchy's loyalty is unassailable thanks to that rescue. Still a devotee of the sweet science, when the fists start to fly, it's a good bet he'll be in the middle of it, swinging his scorching fists and wailing an Irish folk song as he lays his foes low.

Nick Naldini
Nick Naldini was a successful stage magician and escape artist. The tragic death of his wife and child drove him to a cocaine addiction and gambling to maintain his habit. Zarkon lifted him out of rock bottom and redeemed him, cementing his allegiance. Nick and Scorchy are what later generations would name "Frenemies," constatnly at odds, constantly trading insults and threats, particularly when a pretty woman comes into view. At heart, they are the closest of friends and most devoted brothers-in-arms.

Francis "Ace" Harrigan
The son of famed aviator "Hop" Harrigan, Ace Harrigan was an expert pilot in his own right. Notching 40 kills over Indo-China in a recent war, Harrigan accidently killed the brother of his lady-love in a friendly fire incident. His guilt drove him nearly to suicide, but Zarkon brought him back from the brink and took him into the Omega Men.

Theophilus "Doc" Jenkins
A large, oafish looking man, Theophilus "Doc" Jenkins' remarkable brain belies his unconventional looks. Known as the man with the camera eyes, Doc is Jenkins is the rare indivdual blessed and cursed with an eidetic memory. His amazing mind and the difficulty of managing it drove him nearly mad, sending him into a mental institution, from which Zarkon freed him, helping him to manage and apply his incredible gifts as he had never been able to before, securing Jenkin's unswerving loyalty. Able to recall any fact, any image, anything he has ever seen or heard, perfectly and instantly, Doc's computer like brain serves Zarkon and the team as their organizer, researcher and archivist.

Mendel Lowell "Menlo" Parker
The peer of such luminaries as Tesla or Marconi, Parker's remarkable career as a scientist and engineer was nearly cut short by a dread, wasting disease with no cure. Nicknamed "Menlo" after the Wizard of Menlo Park, Thomas Edison, Parker despaired ever reaching the heights his brain ought, thanks to his illness. Zarkon cured the incurable and saved his life. Parker has two unexpected attributes that are not obvious unless prompted. First, he is a master of the martial arts, despite a thin, frail frame and second, he is entirely unable to stand the presence of women, eschewing their company whenever possible.
