Buck Rogers first appeared in Armageddon - 2419 A.D. By Philip Francis Nowlan in Amazing Stories, August, 1928. A second story, The Air Lords of Han appeared in the same magazine later that year. Buck Rogers finds himself reawakened on a post-apocalyptic Earth, some 500 years in the future. Joined by Wilma Deering and Dr. Huer, he fights against various foes.

Buck Rogers entered the public domain on January 1, 2024.

Current Incarnation (PDSH)

In our stories, Captain Buck Rogers is a WWII pilot and adventurer. He is sent behind enemy lines with a team of specialists to stop the Nazis from activating a machine that has the potential to contact other planets. When the operation goes horribly wrong, he and Colonel Wilma Deering are transported through time and/or space to Theopolis, a city under seige by the galaxy spanning Empire of Mongo.
